On Tuesday, September 13, from 9:00-11:00 am we will host a walk-in help session for Finance InfoAssist users. Experts will be available on a first come-first served basis to assist you with your query writing issues. No RSVP is necessary. The session will be held at the Perovich Business Center, Room 1007. On Monday, October 24 we will offer MyReports Finance Guided Ad Hoc Training. This course is geared towards users who do not want to write their own reports, but would like to be able to manipulate some data that isn't available in the standard reports. Guided Ad Hoc interfaces allow you to perform data extracts to Excel where you can pivot, create tables, and perform additional analysis without requiting the Finance Report Writer role. The class will be held at the Perovich Business Center, Room 1007, from 1:30-3:30 pm. Registration is available through Learning Central by searching for FIN 505.
On Thursday, December 8 we will offer a session of InfoAssist - Finance Report Writer Training. This course will teach new report writers how to use the InfoAssist tool in MyReports. We will cover creating basic queries, joining data, report formatting, defining fields, and much more. The class will be held at the Perovice Business Center, Room 1007, from 9:00-11:00 am. Registration is available through Learning Central by searching for FIN 502. Note: In order to participate in this class you must have the Finance Report Writer role. Finance Systems Management is pleased to offer a MyReports Guided Ad Hoc training. Sessions are two hours long and held in the Perovich Business Center. The first hour will be dedicated to an in-depth demonstration of getting the most out of finance Guided ad hoc interfaces, including further analysis using pivot tables in Excel. The second hour will be open for Q&A on any MyReports Finance topics. We will have experts in the room to assist you with any reporting needs you have.
Registration for each session is limited to 12 participants to ensure plenty of individual attention. Finance MyReports users can register for this session through Learning Central by searching for FIN 505.
Guided Ad Hoc interfaces provide a data extract when published reports don’t meet all department needs. Any MyReports Finance user can run a Guided Ad Hoc without any technical knowledge of query writing, no special role is required either.
